Koh Sak

Koh Sak Dive and Snorkel Sites

Koh Sak Island is a nearby horseshoe shaped shallow dive and snorkel site for beginners and less than 40 minutes boat trip from Pattaya Port.

The large crescent shaped beachy bay at the north of the island receives a lot of shelter from the prevailing wind and waves.

Therefore Koh Sak Island dive sites are ideal for scuba's learners or novice snorkelers who are weak at swimming.

The deepest diving depths typically bottom out around 12 meters and there are several flat shallow sites around Koh Sak which are popular ports of call for snorkeling tours from Pattaya Beach.

Even though the fringing coral formations are often obscured and mantled by drifting blooms of plankton, Koh Sak dive sites are a well attended favourite destination for inexperienced divers and snorkelers.

The two principle reasons are because you find ankle-deep seabed shelving outwards from the white sandy beach and the island's proximity to Pattaya. Head out to Koh Sak for a fun-filled scuba daytrip and you will most likely find large encrusted coral bommies providing the perfect habitat for dazzling reef fishes and small crustaceans.
