Scuba Diving at Stingray Alley Dive Site

You may have already guessed it, but scuba divers are almost guaranteed to see stingrays (sea rays) in the deep, rocky sector of this island dive site.

Best Months to Scuba Dive 'Stingray Alley'

One reason travelers go diving at the Sihanoukville islands is for warm ocean temperatures of 26 to 30° Celsius (78-86 Fahrenheit).

This area of South East Asia usually gets the wet season from June to October and the dry season starts in November until May.

Note: The dive site Stingray Alley is quite deep in places, with maximum depths around 25 metres. Even so, there are shallower sections that make it ideal for a PADI night dive organised by one of the local training agencies.
