Koh Yippon

Koh Yippon Samui Island

Koh Yippon - Hin Nippon in Japanese - is situated towards the north of a stunning island archipelago in the Angthong National Marine Park.

Koh Yippon is one of 50 islands that offer incredible scenery and natural beauty.

It is a regular destination for local diving and snorkeling trips from Koh Samui.

The dive sites of Koh Yippon and Koh Wao are both noted for their interesting underwater terrain such as swim-throughs and shallow caverns.

Divers should expect to see yellow tailed fusiliers clouding the fringing soft coral systems below.

Stingrays are seen resting on the sand and groups of barracuda circle the reef.

The biggest advantages at this site include a lack of strong currents and shallow diving spots which makes them favorable for beginners and snorkel tours.
