Bangpra International Golf Club Pattaya

Nestled in the natural hillside of Sri Racha overlooking the picturesque Ban Bang Phra reservoir, lies this mature 18 hole, 72 par golf course, renowned for its fast sloping greens and natural habitat, including the odd monkey.

Bangpra International Golf Club was built in 1958 and is just a 50 mins drive north from Pattaya.

Opening Times at Bangpra Golf Club

In 1988, commissioned in a joint venture by the Thai Tourism Authority and a private company, "Japan Golf Promotion Co., Ltd", the course was updated to promote Tourism from Japan.

The first nine holes were completely redesigned, adding more hazards to make this a more challenging course, the facilities and clubhouse were also brought up to standard.

The clubhouse comes with a Japanese theme, including a Japanese Restaurant and the changing rooms include Japanese Baths.

The whole course was overhauled in 2007, modernising the club house as well.

Bangpra International Golf Club has hosted many professional tournaments; most recently it hosted the Thailand Open, 2010.

This course is challenging, you will have good days and very bad days here. We have a hole by hole break down at the bottom of the page. It is really fun.

The Modern Club House opens at 6 am and officially closes at 9 pm, it comes with a fine Restaurant and Bar, serving International and Thai cuisine, specialising in Japanese Cuisine and seats 150 People.

The Pro Shop, stocks a wide range of branded and our own Bangpra branded golfing apparel and you may need a few extra balls, Locker Room, has 260 lockers for the male guests and 46 for the female guests, there are 30 bathrooms with the latest Japanese Technology, closes at 7 pm.

Meeting and Banqueting Facilities, Bangpra has a 40-seater Meeting Room and can accommodate between 10 and 120 Banqueting Guests and a Kiosk Shop.

Additionally there are 5 other Kiosk Shops on the course, at holes 1, 4, 7, 12, and 16, serving a wide range of snacks and beverages.

Tee Off Times - Bangpra has 3 different Tee off windows, 6.30 am to 11.40 - Tariff One, 11.40 to 15.00 - Tariff Two and 15.00 to 18.00 (course digression) - Tariff Three.

Bangpra International Golf Club is a challenging Par 72, totaling 7,393 Yards, Tee to Pin. The Fees are extremely reasonable here, the Weekday Round is 2,200 Baht - Tariff One, including the compulsory caddy and the Optional Golf Cart is an extra 600 Baht with weekend prices rising to 3,200 Baht per Round. Tariff Two has a 600 Baht reduction and Tariff Three a 900 Baht Reduction.

The Golf course is accompanied by the 94 room, Bangpra Resort Hotel, for those who wish to play on, and to discover what Sri Racha has to offer. Additionally there are Round Discounts for anyone staying in the Hotel. The Hotel rates start from 2,000 Baht per night.

How to get to Bangpra International Golf Course

Location: 50 min. Drive from Pattaya City along Highway 7 for 50 kms then take signed exit on route 3144.
Alternatively drive Route 3 towards Sri Racha and take 3144 after approx 43 km – signposted; Tel 038 341 152.

The Perfect Round of Golf: Caddy's Advice

In our opinion this is a superb course for the Golfer who wishes to be challenged. We can only guide you through this course with the ideal route, as we all know one stroke short or long, off line and the whole Hole takes a different shape.

The pin positions do change, the caddy on the day will help you. A trip to Pattaya is wasted unless you try Bangpra International Golf Club.

All on-course caddies - 350 to choose from - have completed training by a professional caddie and have extensive knowledge of each hole and club selection. Bangpra Golf Club prides themselves on Service and Training.

Your Tee shot should be driven up the fairway, aim slightly right of center avoiding the bunkers, left and right.

Your ball should lie higher than the green and a One or Two Iron is required to reach the green, your ball should run on, given the downhill shot. The pin is front left of the green.

Course Notes for Bangpra Golf

Please Note: There are a maximum of 5 Golfers per Group
Carts: Golf Carts are Optional and can be rented from the Pro Shop at 600 Baht, they are all modern Yamaha Golf Carts and they are kept in exceptional condition.

Caddy: Caddies are compulsory and the Fee is 200 Baht for 9 holes and 350 Baht for 18 holes, this is included in your round fee.

Driving Range: To get into the swing of things, Bangpra offers a splendid driving range; priced at 30 Baht for 40 practice Balls. Open 6 am until 6 pm.

Spectators: There is No charge for Spectators as long as there is only 1 Non-golfer accompanying the Group. Non-golfers must dress appropriately.
