Tennis is popular in Thailand because you do not need a lot of gear. So, get yourself a racket, a few balls, and a place to play, and you're good to go.

If you can set aside the antiquated scoring system, the fundamentals of tennis are rather simple.
So, if you're playing singles, there will be two (2) players standing on opposite sides of a net in the center of the court.
Here's the thing:
Two players stand on opposite sides of the net. One player serves the ball onto the opponent’s side of the court.
Players take turns "serving" the ball back and forth in rallies to their opponent, and try to win a game, a set, and eventually - the match!
Pro Tip: In the simplest of terms, you need to make four (4) points to win a game, six (6) games to win the set, and at least two (2) sets to win the match.
