The introduction of golf in Pattaya took place back in 1971 with the completion of the Siam Country Club.
It was Thailand's first 'privately owned' course - designed and built by the famous Japanese designer, Isao Izumi.
But, Schmidt-Curley (famous golf course architects) put the layout through some modernisation in 2006.
Since then, it's hosted the Thailand Open and the LPGA Tour events.
Yet, one of the best things about Siam Country Club Golf Course is that it's only a twenty minute drive from the famous holiday resort Pattaya.
In recent years, the eastern seaboard of Thailand has developed even more, and has now become the ideal destination for golfers.
