Maturing slightly in years, my passion for Scuba Diving and Teaching remains extremely strong, continuously achieving the highest standards for our customers. My objective is to provide safe Scuba Training, and Fun Diving excursions for my students and dive buddies here in Pattaya. With almost twenty years of scuba diving experience, and more than three thousand logged dives, the leader of our team is 'Scuba Steve'. A PADI Master Instructor, Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer (CPR and First Aid), Emergency Oxygen Instructor, Nitrox Instructor, Scuba Equipment Repair Technician, and qualified to teach another 16 various PADI Specialty Courses having current Liability and DAN Diving Insurance (divers alert network).
Having dived in Thailand since 2002, I would consider myself knowledgeable of the Thai culture and in particular, the quality of Thailand Diving. For many years, I've had the pleasure of diving in Phuket, the Phi Phi & Racha islands, on Liveaboards in the Similan & Surin Islands, and most recently in Pattaya. Born in chumpon, near to the island of Koh Samui, I've always had a fascination for water and the amazing fish life that is hidden below. Upon successful completion of my Bachelor's Degree in a Bangkok University, the wishes of my parents were for me to work in an office, using my education to secure my future. However, I had a dream of becoming a scuba instructor, and teaching scuba to as many thai people as I could, to show them this unique world of vibrant nature. Scuba Diving in Thailand is difficult for many Thai people, not least because most of us can't swim !
Steve, and Private Scuba, made my dream come true. I was trained by 'scuba steve' in Phuket in October 2007 and I've been teaching scuba diving ever since. Extremely rare for Thai's, I've travelled and worked in many parts of Thailand, teaching PADI Scuba Courses in Phuket, Phi Phi islands and Koh Samui. I've worked as a dive guide on Liveaboards in the Similan and Surin islands, and I've enjoyed my time diving in Pattaya, learning about wreck diving and reef dives. The thrill and excitement that I get when I train a student to be a certified diver, in just a few days of scuba lessons, is what makes me the happiest in my life as a scuba instructor.

Eminating from an IT computer background, I discovered diving just a few years ago. However, the joy and satisfaction that I get from teaching is what keeps me involved in this truly amazing sport. I started my teaching career in Australia, and then I had a spell of cold water diving in the Lakes of Germany. Moving into the Mediterranean islands for the summer, and then returning to Asia for the warm, blue waters of the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Siam. Thailand diving is special to me. I particularly like wreck diving, and Pattaya has some great wreck dives. There are US Navy ships at 30 meters which are teeming with fish life. I've dived with schools of Baraccudas, large Batfish, Yellow-tailed fusiliers, Trevally's and I've seen huge stonefish, crab, nudibranchs and many more creatures that live in the ship wrecks in Pattaya. If you're considering a diving holiday in Pattaya, it would be my pleasure to welcome you to the diverse diving that we have here, from coral reefs to World War II Ship Wrecks.

Life in the UK as a customer services General Manager was good, but I knew that it could get better !
Just a few years ago, I came to Thailand looking for a career change, and found that change, in Scuba Diving Instruction. I met 'Scuba Steve' in Pattaya. He completed my PADI Divemaster training for me and helped me to become a Padi Open Water Scuba Instructor. He completed my training by teaching my Emergency First Response Instructor course. Since then, I've worked as a PADI Scuba Instructor, and travelled around Thailand, diving some of my favourite dive spots like Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Chang and Pattaya. Pattaya is home to me now, and I enjoy living and diving in these warm clear waters, with a variety of flora and forna that would grace any diver's log book. I have always been attracted by the sea and underwater world and I enjoy sailing and snorkelling since I was a kid. I later discovered scuba diving in Asia when I travelled with some friends to the Perenthian islands in Malaysia where I passed the Open Water course.
After this first great experience, I have taken the opportunity to dive during my several overseas trips when possible : Thailand, Philippines, Turkey, Mexico offered me some unforgettable marine life explorations. Today, being settled down for a 2 years contract in Thailand in the automotive industry, I decided to use this opportunity to take a step further in my diving development by obtaining the PADI Divemaster certification with Steve and Private Scuba. I already gained a lot of experience from him and all the different diving supervisions and training assistances I was able to undertake as part of my divemaster training.
Now freshly certified, I would be more than happy to welcome you to our great Private Scuba team to make you discover Pattaya dive spots diversity (especially the inevitable amazing wreck dives).
I am not "little Cousteau" yet, but we would definitely have fun to dive together.
