Crystal bay scuba location is favored for its crystal clearness underwater.
It is located around 30 minutes boat ride from Nusa Penida.
Despite the popularity for divers making the trip here, it should be noted that the site is best suited for those with some considerable experience.
The prevailing currents at crystal bay can be both chilling and treacherous particularly near the center of the dive site.
The water temperature here can drop as sharply as the reef so be prepared to wear some thermal protection.
As the reef drops off down to 30 meters, you can expect to see Mola Mola's, Sharks, schooling Eagle rays, huge Dogtooth Tuna, and massive Bumphead Wrasses.
